A two-pack, modified epoxy designed as a tiecoat or sealer on epoxy anticorrosive systems in order to improve the adhesion of subsequent antifouling systems. It offers a very long recoating window with single-pack and 2-pack finishes and therefore can be used in marine paint systems above and below the waterline. It can also be used as a sealer on old and polished through antifouling system as the product provides good compatibility with various antifouling systems.
Transvinypox has excellent flexibility and adhesion to a variety of substrates such as aluminium, galvanized steel, wood and glass fibre reinforced polyester.
The product cures down to temperatures of 0°C and tolerates a lower degree of surface preparation.
