Transpoxy Unicote BT is a surface tolerant epoxy for usage in high corrosive conditions onshore and offshore. The product can accept a lower degree of surface preparation if blast cleaning is not possible or desired. Transpoxy Unicote BT can be applied over Powertool cleaned substrate as well as UHP water jetted substrate. The product is exceptionally suitable for repairs in and refurbishment of water ballast tanks and can be applied to damp substrates. As such, Transpoxy Unicote BT has passed the Turkish Navy specifications for ballast tank protection. The product offers good application properties and can be used down to -5°C.
